The Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) Council Europe is a market development organization whose mission is to educate, promote, and accelerate the deployment of fibre in access and the resulting quality-of-life enhancements.

 

The council offers an industry focal point to members where they can apply critical thinking to FTTH technologies and applications. Using this input, the council keeps members informed about industry trends, shares success stories, and provides quality speakers through its speaker's bureau.

 

The council's objectives are to supply a consistent and accurate view of FTTH, promote FTTH market development and be recognized by the industry as the FTTH resource.

 

The European council consists of more than 120 leading companies in the broadband industry and works closely together with the FTTH Councils of North America and Asia. All member companies are broadband leaders who have many years of experience in deploying complex solutions to the fast growing broadband market. These organizations are also experts in advising governments and service providers in the delivery of valuable services to their citizens, stakeholders and customers.
